Sana graduated from the Cumberland College of Health Sciences in 1991 with a Bachalor of Applied Sciences in Nursing. Although she worked in various fields of nursing at the Prince of Wales Hospital at Randwick, she concentrated on Accident and Emergency and took those skills with her to work in the United Kingdom for 2 1/2 years.
In 1999 she graduated with a Masters in Public Health and started with the Centre for Kidney Research in the year 2000. The position involved coordinating the PRIVENT trial full-time, which she did for 31/2 years before going on maternity leave for the first time. After a year off with her gorgeous baby boy, she returned to a part-time postion on the FEVER trial. It was not long before she was on maternity leave again and after a year off with her divine baby girl, she returned to her part-time position.
At the beginning of 2009 she became the trial coordinator for a study called NEAT, but she was soon on maternity leave again for the third time! After 12 months at home with her beautiful baby boy, she returned to her position on the NEAT study. With NEAT nearly completed, she has become the trial coordinator of a new study called WATCH.
